Pre-Conference Preparation

TTH Science Policy Panel for NON-TTH PARTICIPANTS:
Please RSVP for the “Science and Tech in the Capitol” Science Policy panel on Feb. 19th, 2010 at 4:30PM at the Hojel Auditorium by going here

Participation is free of charge and open to the entire campus! If you wish to join us in our post-panel dinner mixer with the panel speakers, check the appropriate box in the form.

TTH Chapter Leaders and Members:
Please fill out the following registration form for the TTH Conference from Feb. 19-21, 2010 by WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27th, 11:59PM PST. Please note that everyone from your chapter must register in order to be included in food, accommodations and transportation in San Diego. Registration Form

All TTH conference attendees: Please be sure to check your emails in the following weeks for upcoming conference updates, and please note that TTH will only cover accommodations for Friday and Saturday night only. Here is our tentative event schedule. If you have any conflicts, please make a note under “additional comments” in your registration form.

Conference Schedule

Friday, Feb. 19 – Dress code is casual, but please dress presentably since we will be dining with our presenters after the panel:
* Meet and Greet starting at 11AM
* Complimentary lunch
* TTH-only Science Policy Simulation: an interactive activity that will explore the concept of science policy today and to test your team-building skills!
* Science Policy Panel: “Science and Tech in the Capitol” featuring three guest speakers, moderated by Dr. Seth Cohen at Hojel Auditorium
* Complimentary dinner with the panelists for TTH members; non-TTH participants need to sign up in the form above

Saturday, Feb. 20 -  Dress code is business casual:
* Morning sessions: divisions include literary, e-publication, business/marketing and much more!
* Complimentary lunch
* A special presentation from a member of the TTH Board of Directors
* Inter-chapter networking and discussions: meeting chapter leaders/members, launching of our new website, announcing open international positions, and much more!
* Dinner and social in Downtown San Diego!

Sunday, Feb. 21 – Dress is casual:
* Complimentary breakfast and final informal meeting
* AAAS Poster Session at 1PM at the San Diego Convention Center
